We’re always working to enhance our entire product lineup, with particular attention on our flagship plugins, The Events Calendar and Event Tickets. Essential features are included in the free versions of these tools, while premium versions offer advanced capabilities for more specialized needs.
In this post, we’ll highlight the most impactful updates made to Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus this year. These upgrades are excellent reasons to take advantage of our Cyber Monday Sale, where you can save 40%—but don’t wait, this offer ends today!!
1. New & Improved Order Management

This year we released an update for Event Tickets that added a new and improved order management system for Tickets Commerce (our native ecommerce solution). This update came in two parts. First, the addition of a new screen called Orders. This new screen created a single location where you can view all ticket orders. The second part of the new order management system update added lots of helpful links, stats, and filtering/sorting options to make order management easier.
2. All Tickets Screen

Similar to our new Orders screen, we also released a new All Tickets screen for Event Tickets this year. This screen functions as a central hub for all tickets created across your entire website–whether they’re attached to events you’ve created with The Events Calendar or simply tickets you’ve created and embedded on a post or page. This represents a huge improvement in user experience for anyone managing event tickets and is yet another improvement aimed at making the Event Tickets plugin the best standalone solution for selling tickets on WordPress.
3. Seating Integration (Premium Add-on)

One of the biggest projects for us all year was the creation and release of our brand new Seating add-on for Event Tickets. Unlike many add-ons we create, this one is not a plugin but a SaaS service we’ve integrated with Event Tickets. There is no plugin to install. Rather, once a license is purchased all you have to do is use it to connect Event Tickets to the SaaS service. Then, everything takes place right inside the WP Admin.
Seating is designed to make selling assigned seats to your events simple. With it you can easily create interactive seating maps, leverage seat types (like VIP) to generate more revenue, and empower your attendees to select the exact seats–and experience–they’re looking for.
5. Apple Wallet and PDF ticket Solutions (Plus)

As part of our product consolidation earlier this year we merged our Wallet Plus add-on into Event Tickets Plus. This means that every Event Tickets Plus user now enjoys our easy to use Apple Wallet and PDF ticket solutions without the need of an additional plugin.
6. Native Zapier and Microsoft Power Automate Integrations (Plus)

This year we merged the Event Automator add-on with Events Calendar Pro. This brought native integrations with Zapier and Microsoft Power Automate to Event Tickets Plus (and Events Calendar Pro), making it easier than ever to automate a wide variety of event management tasks.
Coming Soon!
There are a few features we couldn’t quite get out before this sale, but they’re on track to come out before the end of the year. So if you purchase Event Tickets Plus today, you can expect to enjoy these amazing features in the very near future.
Booking Fees (Plus)
Booking fees is a highly requested feature for Event Tickets Pro. Within the event ticketing industry, booking fees are a common practice intended to help event organizers cover administrative or operational expenses. Keeping this fee separate from the ticket price makes things like revenue sharing less complicated since this isn’t part of the actual ticket price, but an additional fee. We expect to release this feature in the weeks following our Black Friday Sale.
