We’re constantly at work improving our entire product suite, with a special focus, of course, on our two flagship products The Events Calendar and Event Tickets. We split these new features between the free and premium versions of these plugins with all essential features going to the free versions while more advanced features go to the premium versions.
In this post, we’ll be revisiting the most significant features added to The Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro this year. All of which are great reasons to take advantage of our 40% off Cyber Monday Sale, happening right now–but not for much longer!
1. Elementor Templates for Single Events

This year we added some much-requested compatibility with the world’s most popular page builder–Elementor. Users of The Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro now enjoy the ability to use Elementor to edit the layout and elements of their single events pages. This means you can design more interesting and engaging event listings than ever before–no coding required.
2. The Events Calendar Admin Settings Get Design Makeover

This year we gave The Events Calendar admin settings a much needed design makeover. In addition to bringing the design into alignment with our branding, we also decluttered the settings area, replaced long scrolling pages with more convenient tabs, improved accessibility, and improved responsiveness for a more enjoyable experience regardless of device size.
3. Help Hub Brings Support Directly to your Dashboard (Free and Pro Features)

Just last week we released a huge update to The Events Calendar’s Help screen. Instead of just providing links to helpful content hosted on our website, the new Help Hub brings the content (and live support) directly to you. To begin, we’ve created an AI-powered chat experience trained on our product documentation. Ask your question in the chat and it won’t just provide the relevant docs, but step-by-step instructions! For Pro users, if you want to speak to a (human) customer support agent during our operating hours, you can select that option and have a live chat right inside your dashboard.
4. New Embed Calendar Block (Pro)

Events Calendar Pro now includes the Calendar Embed block for the WordPress block editor. This powerful new feature brings the functionality of the Tribe Events Shortcode into an intuitive block format, complete with easily adjustable settings. It’s a simple and visual way to embed and customize calendars anywhere on your site that supports blocks!
5. Event Duplication Now Includes Tickets (Pro)

This year we released an update that added an improvement to Event Calendar Pro’s event duplication feature. Previously, when you’d duplicate an event, only the event details would be copied over to the new event, leaving any attached tickets behind. As a result, tickets had to be re-added manually–costing you precious time. Now, any tickets you’ve added to an event are also duplicated when the event is duplicated.
6. Virtual and Hybrid Event Support (Pro)

This year we merged the popular Virtual Events add-on with Events Calendar Pro. This consolidation brought native support for both virtual and hybrid events to Events Calendar Pro, making it easier than ever to bring your community together whether in-person or online.
7. Native Zapier and Microsoft Power Automate Integrations (Pro)

This year we merged the Event Automator add-on with Events Calendar Pro. This brought native integrations with Zapier and Microsoft Power Automate to Events Calendar Pro (and Event Tickets Plus), making it easier than ever to automate a wide variety of event management tasks.
Coming Soon!
There are a few features we couldn’t quite get out before this sale, but they’re on track to come out before the end of the year. So if you purchase Events Calendar Pro today, you can expect to enjoy these amazing features in the very near future.
Onboarding Wizard
Our team has been hard at work creating a brand new onboarding experience for new users. This onboarding wizard will streamline the setup process, including tasks like creating organizers, venues, and more. It will also provide an option for anyone interested in selling tickets or collecting RSVPs to automatically install Event Tickets. We couldn’t get this feature out before Black Friday but you can expect to see it before the end of the year.
