Our calendar products are trusted in a wide variety of industries. Seeing The Events Calendar in different contexts shows the versatility and depth of our products.
Today, we’re showcasing how Evergreen Chamber Orchestra uses our products to manage their calendar and ticketing. We’ll show you the details of how Evergreen Chamber Orchestra combines Events Calendar Pro and Event Tickets Plus to create an effective events calendar, including how they sell both virtual and in-person tickets for their events.
The homepage
When you navigate to their homepage, you’re greeted with a vibrant design. You’ll see the blue button to View All Events, which will take you to the events page. The menu also brings you to the events page under Get Tickets.

Scrolling down, you’ll find the events calendar embedded directly on the homepage. The events are listed chronologically, with details such as date, time, title, location, ticket type (virtual, in-person, or hybrid), description, and cost.

The main events page
At the top of the main events page, there is a featured header picturing the 2024-2025 season. Underneath the image, they promote virtual events, letting users know that all tickets include the livestream and replay of the performance.

The default view for events is the list view, but you can easily toggle to month view or day view. The list view gives you plenty of information about the event before selecting a single events page. You can also see that each event is labeled as in-person, hybrid, or virtual. Additionally, the price range of each event is listed, so you know what to expect before selecting an event.

The single events page
After clicking on an event, you’ll go to the single events page, where there is a title, date, time, cost, and description of the event. There are also ticketing options, since Evergreen Chamber Orchestra uses Event Tickets Plus. They have two ticket options for this specific event: adult ($40) and child ($20). You’ll see that under each ticket is the amount of tickets remaining. When you set up your ticket on the backend, you can choose the quantity of tickets available.

Underneath the description of the event, you’ll find the program, listing out the songs featured in the performance. Given the nature of the event, this is a helpful addition, offering attendees a preview of the show and what they can expect.

The virtual events page
With Events Calendar Pro, you can create virtual or hybrid events. The event will look identical to other events, but is set up differently on the backend. You can add a video URL to the event and select who has access to it:
- You can show your content to “everyone” regardless of whether they have registered for your event or signed in.
- You can select the “logged in” option if you’d only like your registered users to see your content.
- If you have Event Tickets, then you can opt to only allow users who have an RSVP or ticket to see the content (which is how Evergreen Chamber Orchestra operates!)
When looking at their virtual events page, you can see that they offer unlimited virtual event tickets. Although they charge for virtual events, virtual tickets are “pay what you like.” As you can see, the pricepoint ranges from $20-$80. This model benefits everyone involved: it keeps ticket prices affordable while providing the option for attendees to contribute more if they choose.

The virtual events page also provides a description of the event. The program is listed out, providing a detailed song list so that attendees know what to expect.
